This blue and gold silk scarf was designed exclusively for the Herbert Hoover Museum Gift Shop. It was inspired by a dress worn by Lou Henry Hoover.
The dress came from Garfinckel's Department Store in northern Washington, DC. Established in 1918, Garfinckel's was a favorite shop of Lou Henry Hoover's.
