This custom baseball features photos from the Truman Library collection including, Truman throwing out the first ball at the Kansas City Athletics opening game on September 12, 1955; Truman inspecting a baseball at the opening game of the Washington Senators on April 19, 1948; and Truman with Roger Maris & Mickey Mantle on September 4, 1961. The Truman quote, "I salute baseball as our greatest sport," his signature, and the notation "33rd President of the United States" are also pictured on the baseball.
