Yellow Mug with Presidential Seal and "Gently in Manner, Strongly in Deed" on one side and Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum, Abilene, Kansas on the other.

The "Gently in Manner" motto comes from the Latin inscription, "Suaviter in modo, fortiter in re", attributed to Claudio Aqua Viva. The deskplate that Ike kept on his desk at the White House, later at his Gettysburg office, and now on exhibit in the Political History gallery of the Smithsonian, displayed this inscription. The mug is microwave and dishwasher safe.
