Eisenhower Bust by Nilson Tregor

This 10½" bust of President Eisenhower is a reproduction of the bust that was originally sculpted by Nilson Tregor in 1957. It is believed to be Eisenhower’s only sculpted likeness for which he sat during his presidency.

This sculpture has been hand-cast and hand-finished in crushed stone resin. Centuries-old casting techniques are applied and artisans apply a patina in a labor- intensive process that requires several layers and specialized shading.

The result is a durable work of art that will make a handsome addition to someone's office or library. A brass plaque on the base is engraved with the words, "Dwight D. Eisenhower, 34th President, 1890-1969."
