In 2017 we are celebrating the Sesquicentennial of the Chisholm Trail which stretched from Texas all the way to here in Abilene, Kansas. The Longhorn cow featured on these melamine plates was the dominant breed driven north at that time.

For the past hundred years, flour sack towels have remained the cook's favorite choice for towels. Originally they were salvaged fabric from old flour or grain sacks. After the flour was used, the cotton sack was bleached, washed, and trimmed. Over time it became the flour sack towel we know and love today. Flour sack towels are famous for their absorbency and softness... great for drying dishes.

We have been carrying the Mary Lake-Thompson line of flour sack towels for a few years now and our customers love them! For more than 30 years, Mary and her husband Richard Thompson have been creating unique products with a focus on creative packaging and quality . All their 100% cotton flour sack towels are made in Oroville, CA. These towels measure 30" x 30".
