Benchmark Hiking Medallion

Hiking medallions are increasingly popular in the United States and have been a longstanding tradition in Europe.

The Eisenhower Library Benchmark Hiking Medallion is a replica of the United States Geological Survey markers and benchmarks that are placed to mark key survey points on the Earth's surface. This medallion shows the elevation and the longitude and latitude of the Eisenhower Library and Museum and features an image of the Eisenhower Statue which is the centerpiece to its campus in Abilene, Kansas.

The medallion my be gently shaped to fit on hiking staffs, paddles, etc. Pre-drilling holes for the included nails is recommended to affix your medallion. They can also be flattened and glued to RVs and other flat surfaces. Measures 1-1/2" in diameter.
